All Digital in 2009

United States plans to make analog broadcasting airwaves in televisions obsolete. The transition to digital signal will commence on the 17th of February 2009.

DTV is already tested in Wilmington, North Carolina - all analog broadcast ended last September 8, 2008.

Digital broadcasting will surely allow tv stations to offer improved picture and sound quality and more additional channels.
